Families are the foundation of civilization. They are also the foundation of any fruitful ministry. The Faith Center will serve to be a support to this vital aspect of life and the church. The young families ministry is a ministry specifically designed to assist newly formed families adjust in a productive way. Do not allow the term “young family” to mislead you into thinking that our focus will only be on those who have recently had children. We define the term young family to mean any family that has been newly formed. This would also include the newly married as well as the unconventional aspects of the “blended family”.

Worldly pressures have created divorce rates are inordinately high in this country. Unfortunately, the church has not been exempt of this growing problem.  The young family ministry will seek to turn the tide of this looming problem in our society. We will do this by being a source of support to the new and young family unit as they become united.

We know that being a new parent can be a time of uncertainty and stressful adjustment. It is our desire to be there to assist in any way we can to help parents to these new demands. But the adjustment of a new family isn’t limited solely to the parenting aspect. Children often need assistance in adjusting to newly formed families as well. With this in mind, we will seek to assist children in their time of adjustment. This can include anything from conflict resolution to role definition.
