~ SMALL GROUPS ~

What are small groups? A Small Group:

  • Is an intentional gathering. Small groups are group of people who agree to share life together. They plan where and when to meet and arrange their schedules to be there. They have a purpose for getting together.
  • meets regularly. Small groups have a regular meeting time and schedule. The members of the group know when to expect their next gathering.
  • Is for the purpose of discipleship. People in small groups connect with one another, pray with and for one another, and support one another.

Through this, we are able to reach out and establish relationships with others leading them to a deeper relationship with Christ.

In the Faith Center Small groups, you will fellowship on a more intimate level with a group of people who will come to be a part of your extended family. Through these groups, you will share and strengthen one another through the sharing of your testimonies and experiences. We hope that the bonds established by the members of each active small group will be eternal.

Small groups are also an effective way to introduce others not only to the ministry but to those who are a part of the ministry. Studies have shown that the vast majority of those who have become stable members of a particular ministry were first introduced to that ministry through relationship. Relationships serve as the core of our existence and it is our desire that through the small group setting, you will connect with people who will stand with you, pray with and for you, and encourage you through every situation you might face.

Any number of common factors can be applied in the creation of a small group. Such factors can be anything from age, or marital status to the proximity in which you live from one another. We desire to utilize the common things that are shared already by the members of the group to serve as a foundation for the further growth and development of their relationships through small groups. It is not our desire to place you within a group that you find no common interests with. For this reason, in most cases, you will be given the freedom to select the small group you would like to participate in. There are no limitations on the number of groups you can be a part of. Just as our natural lives are multi-faceted, we completely understand and encourage people to experience as many small groups as their time and schedule allows. Meeting dates, times and frequency will be determined by the members of the group.
